Stay Focused On One MLM For Success
January 5th, 2009I don't mean to say that there is really a "right" or "wrong" answer, but you'll see what I'm talking about in just a second. Here's the question...
How many opportunities are you in?
ok, here's the second part of that question
How many of those opportunities are making you money?
You’ve got to understand that most people are in a MINIMUM of 2 or 3 different programs but the reality is that most people aren't even making money in 1 program.
This is typical in the network marketing world and the truth of the matter is that most people are in actuality opportunity “chasers” as opposed to “real” entrepreneurs.
So, why is being in multiple programs the "wrong" answer? Let me explain…
It's not so much that it's "wrong" but rather that most people jump into multiple programs and never focus enough energy on ONE business to make it work.
The average "mlm'er" is in 2 or 3 different programs and isn't making a dime in any of them.
Let's look at this another way. Can you tie both shoes at the same time? Of course not, you've got to tie one shoe first, and THEN move on to the second shoe.
It's the same in business; you’ve got to make sure that you're making money in your first program BEFORE you join a second program.
Most network marketers don't focus on ONE business long enough to make it work. It seems that we pretty much live in a world of "opportunity CHASERS" rather that entrepreneurs.
Don't get me wrong, I’m all for multiple streams of income and not putting all of your eggs into one basket. But my recommendation is that you make sure that you get ONE business making you at LEAST a few grand a month profit BEFORE you jump into another business. I know that it's scary when you think that you might miss out on the next big pre-launch…But trust me when I tell you that you'll be doing yourself a HUGE service by not chasing the new hot thing, and instead just staying FOCUSED on ONE business. Being in multiple businesses is a good thing, but only if you are ACTUALLY making money in the businesses.
If you really want to experience mlm success then you really need to do yourself a favor and stop trying to tie both shoes at the same time ;-)
